Highways play a large role in people's lives - they affect our economy, our environment, and the way we move about our communities. Strengthening the highway system requires the acquisition and management of the real estate which surrounds it, which can include individual's land, homes, and businesses.
HEP's Office of Real Estate Services works as a leader in real estate acquisition, and as a partner to State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) around the country, to ensure that the real estate alongside our highways is managed in a way that enhances our communities and protects our environment.
