  The purpose of the program is to accelerate intermodal integration among passenger transportation modes by: ensuring intercity public transportation access to intermodal passenger facilities; encouraging the development of an integrated system of public transportation information; and providing intercity bus intermodal passenger facility grants.   A grant could not exceed 50% of the net project cost. However, the portion that is not funded under this program could include up to 30% from other Federal funds eligible for transportation. Grantees will be selected on a competitive basis.
  Authorizes the Secretary to make grants to State or local governmental authorities or nonprofit organizations for capital projects that acquire, construct, improve or renovate an intermodal facility to establish or enhance coordination between intercity bus services and other modes of transportation.
