	Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2004 STEA04 Part III On June 23rd both the House and the Senate passed STEA04 Part III extending the Highway Trust Funded Programs until July 31, 2004. The House passed H.R. 4635 by a recorded vote of 418 to 0. Later in the day the Senate adopted the House passed bill by unanimous consent thereby clearing a "clean" extension for the President.
