This report is the result of a seven-month effort which involved not only the members of the Workforce Planning and Professional Development Task Force, but literally hundreds of others who helped coordinate, lead and document outreach sessions; those who collected and compiled data which was critical to the analysis of the workforce; and many, many others who assisted in developing the substance of the actions listed in this report. The Task Force wishes to thank all of those who played such a critical part in bringing this effort to this point. In particular, we would like to acknowledge:
Al Alonzi - Strategic Management and Policy Coordinator for the Office of the Professional Development, Al has served as the primary coordinator of the entire Task Force effort since its inception.
Bob Fisher - Director of Training in the Office of the Inspector General at the Department of Health and Human Services, Bob was on detail to the Task Force for eight weeks as part of the Executive Potential Program.
Rebecca Royer - A member of the Professional Development Program, Rebecca accepted a six-month assignment to work with the Task Force.
