Project Description:This study will identify, document, and develop guidance materials on the state-of-the-practice and the state-of-the-art in utilizing the range of data available from traffic analysis tools in a manner that operating agencies, decisionmakers, or seasoned professionals would not have otherwise gained through a raw interpretation of individual performance measures.

Goals:The goal is to identify, document, and develop guidance materials on the state-of-the-practice and the state-of-the-art in utilizing traffic analysis tools.
Background Information: The Federal Highway Administration, in support of the Traffic Analysis and Simulation Pooled Fund Study, has identified a need to create guidance on the selection and use of traffic analysis tools and other methods in a manner that promotes consistency.
