Project Description: Provide technical support to the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program (LTPP) staff in the development and implementation of procedures and specifications for the quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) on data in the comprehensive LTPP information management system (IMS). Provide technical support to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the maintenance and operation of the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program information management system (IMS) servers and the program's customers, as necessary.  Investigate and implement Long-Term Pavement Performance Program Information Management System database enhancements and expansion.       Coordinate and integrate activities with other Long-Term Pavement Performance Program contractors, the Federal Highway Administration, participating States and Canadian provinces, and Long-Term Pavement Performance Program customers, as required. Participate in the development, refinement, and assessment of pavement- performance monitoring activities conducted in support of the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program research; and provide technical services in the conduct of pavement-performance monitoring activities.  Provide technical support to the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program staff in collecting pavement monitoring and response data, characterizing materials, and providing other related data as identified for the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program. Provide technical support in the general planning and coordination of the Long-Term Pavement Performance Program, including coordinating new test section designs, reviewing and assessing the program experimental designs and statuses, and addressing special needs that may arise.  Provide technical support services on special projects and data studies as directed by the United States Government.
