Project ID:FHWA-PROJ-12-0026
Project Name: Long-Term Pavement Performance Program Standard Data Release (SDR) Number 27
Status: Active
Contact:Last Name:   Lopez
First Name:   Aramis
Telephone:  202-493-3145
E-mail:         aramis.lopez@dot.gov
Organization:Federal Highway Administration - Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC)
Office: Office of Infrastructure Research and Development
Team: Long-Term Pavement Performance Team
Roadmap/Focus area(s): Infrastructure Research and Technology Strategic Plan and Roadmap
Project Description: The Standard Data Release (SDR) is the annual release of the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program database. The Standard Data Release is available annually to the public in Microsoft Access® format, and available on Digital Versatile Discs (DVD) and/or Universal Serial Bus (USB) drives. The Standard Data Release can be obtained through LTPP Customer Support Services at ltppinfo@dot.gov.Perhaps one of the most useful documents contained here for beginners is the tutorial "Accessing LTPP Data," which includes step-by-step examples of working with the SDR in Microsoft Access® and building queries for data extraction. The first document to read is the "Release Notes," which comes in hardcopy and electronic format with the SDR. These notes contain important information about organization, content, and significant changes that have occurred from release to release.A Reference Library DVD Read-Only Memory (ROM) accompanies the SDR and gives the user the capability to search for software utilities, resource documents, and research reports that support the database.
