Project Description:   Assess the feasibility of and demonstrate the use of Traffic Speed Deflectometer (TSD) for network level pavement structural evaluation for use in the participating agencies pavement management application and decision making.
Goals:  
The objectives of this effort are:
  1. Demonstrate the use of Traffic Speed Deflectometer (TSD) for network level pavement structural evaluation for use in the participating state agencies’ pavement management application and decision making.
  2. Critically assess the analysis methodologies and processes for incorporating pavement structural information with SHA pavement management applications, including evaluation and validation of the devices leading to them, developed under FHWA research project “Pavement Structural Evaluation at the Network Level.”
  3. Conduct exploratory analysis to demonstrate the use of pavement structural condition information derived from TSD through the analysis methodologies and processes developed in FHWA research project “Pavement Structural Evaluation at the Network Level” for use in the participating state’s pavement management system and applications.
