• 1994 - 2010: Safety Programs Engineer, Ohio Division. Duties include oversight of the Federal safety program in Ohio and providing technical assistance statewide for safety (bicycle/pedestrian safety, hazard elimination, impaired driving, rail-highway grade crossing safety, roadside design, Safe Routes to School, safety hardware, vehicle occupant restraint, and work zone traffic control)
• 1991 - 1994: Regional Traffic Operations Engineer, Federal Highway Administration Region 5, Homewood, IL. Duties included providing technical assistance in the traffic engineering to FHWA offices in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio & Wisconsin.
