The FHWA Resource Center is your link to the latest innovations in transportation technology. Through onsite demonstrations and showcase seminars about market-ready technologies, we help State and local agencies realize, first-hand, the benefits of these advances before implementing them.

A market-ready technology must—
• Support the FHWA priorities, including strategic goals.

• Accommodate a user’s need with a likelihood of implementation.

• Be developed to the point of being truly market-ready.

• Have expertise available to support development and implementation.

The FHWA, in conjunction with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), has selected market-ready technologies and innovations that warrant special focus and deployment in the transportation sector. We know these tools support agency goals, are developed to the point of being truly market-ready, and
can provide much-needed solutions that warrant implementation on the front lines.

The Technical Service Teams work with our customers to deploy these market-ready technologies and innovations, as well as other innovative concepts and practices, in their respective areas of expertise. We also provide a handy resource, Technology and Innovation Resource Guide, for information and benefits about the latest available technical solutions that are working on road systems around the Nation.
