AIR QUALITY TEAM
Air Quality is one of 13 technical service teams (TSTs) within the Federal Highway Administration’s Resource Center. The Air Quality TST works closely with FHWA Headquarters, field offices and other Federal agencies to provide technical assistance, technology deployment and training to partners and customers in the field of transportation and air quality.
The Team provides technical expertise in the following areas:
• Air Toxics
• Air quality planning
• Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ)
• MOVES, MOBILE6.2, Easy Mobile Inventory Tool (EMIT), Cal3qhc
• Freight air quality
• Global climate change
• Emissions modeling
• Particulate matter (PM)
• Transportation conformity
• Pollution health effects
