(Smart Survey) DBE Needs Assessment
• The Smart Survey identifies potential barriers that DBE firms encounter in obtaining highway related contracts
• The Smart Survey gauges the effectiveness of the Supportive Services provider in meeting the needs of the DBE community
• The Smart Survey enables those with little DBE program knowledge to conduct effective surveys and deliver consistent results
• The Smart Survey captures data in a manner that makes survey analysis much less tedious and it allows data to be manipulated and sorted as Excel spreadsheet data
• The Smart Survey can be formatted in a manner that allows the firm to receive the survey electronically, complete it autonomously, and return the survey via email upon completion
• The feedback provided from the Smart Survey is used to justify future funding requests
