ABSTRACT:
The HY8 Culvert Analysis program automates the culvert design methods described in FHWA publications Highway Hydrology, Hydraulic Design Series No. 2 (HDS-2); Hydraulic Design of Highway Culverts, Hydraulic Design Series No. 5 (HDS-5); and Hydraulic Design of Energy Dissipators for Culverts and Channels, Hydraulic Engineering Circular No. 14 (HEC-14). In addition to the HY8 Culvert Analysis software, the following supporting programs are also available from the Federal Highway Administration:
- HY8InpGen (Version 4.01)—HY8 input file generator
- HY8PCViewer—HY8 output file viewer
- HY8Energy (Version 2)—energy dissipator design
