STRUCTURES TEAM
Prestressed Concrete Committee for Economic Fabrication Minutes
of May 23, 2000 Meeting
We wish to thank PennDOT for volunteering to
record and distribute the meeting minutes and attachments. These materials
will be posted on the ERC Infrastructure Teams website in the near future, and
hard copy-mailed to appropriate individuals with a ** designation who do not
have an electronic mail address. These individuals are asked to distribute
the materials in a timely manner to others in their office who are on the
mailing list.
Our appreciation is also extended to the
Subcommittee chairmen, to all presenters, and to all attendees for their active
participation in the meeting. As noted, the various chairmen are again
requested to convene their groups in any appropriate manner, to address and
resolve issues previously discussed. Continued status
reports/recommendations/ballot items will be requested at the next
meeting.
With the approval by the States of the family of
prestressed concrete bulb-T shapes, we consider this to be a landmark meeting in
the short life of the PCEF. A key item at the next meeting will be status
updates by each state on what family of bulb-T shapes are being implemented
through coordination with industry.
The attached minutes are supplemented as
follows:
