On December 4, 2015, the President signed the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act into law (P.L.114-94). The FAST Act amended 23 U.S.C. 129(c) and 147, regarding the construction of ferry boats and ferry terminal facilities under the formula Ferry Boat Program (FBP). The attached FBP Implementation Guidance provides information on funding, eligible activities, and requirements of the FBP.
The effective date of this FAST Act FBP implementation guidance is October 1, 2015.
