 | Community and Transportation System Plan for Southern Versailles
Woodford County, KentuckyAbstractIn recent years, Woodford County has seen growth in both traffic volumes and residential development, particularly in the population center of Versailles. In the near future, proposed highway facilities, bikeways and adjacent land uses will provide new opportunities for further development and growth in the southern portion of Versailles. The primary objective of the Community and Transportation System Plan for Southern Versailles will be to develop local transportation and planning strategies with specific implementation mechanisms, allowing for the careful management of this scenic part of central Kentucky. Project tasks will include: A Detailed Description of Planning Concepts and Study Objectives A Public Outreach and Involvement Plan Development of Integrated Transportation and Land Use Alternatives Multi-Criteria Analysis and Evaluation Development of Implementation Mechanisms
This plan will function as an amendment to help implement and augment the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Comprehensive Plan Update (1997) and the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Year 2020 Transportation Plan (1999). Previous Page |
