Specifically this project seeks to - Achieve a better match between the short-term, development-review-based testing of transportation system performance and the long-term, comprehensive-plan based testing of transportation system performance.
- Determine if existing transportation regulations/policies are in direct conflict with other objectives of the comprehensive plan.
- Achieve a greater public acceptance of the resulting comprehensive plan.
- Develop a transportation concurrency regulation system that is more consistent with the intent of the Growth Management Act.
Ensure the transportation facilities needed to support the adopted land use plan are "fundable." Previous Page |
