Sponsored by the Federal Railroad Administration, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), Amtrak and the High-Speed Ground Transportation Association.

The purpose of the meeting is to solicit input and exchange information on railroad issues concerning new program initiatives and revisions in the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 (ISTEA). The day long seminar will explain the high-speed rail, Maglev, freight and intermodal provisions of Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21).
