Final Rule on Transportation Planning

The FHWA/FTA Final Rule on statewide and metropolitan transportation planning and programming and congestion management processes/systems was published in the February 14, 2007 Federal Register. Here are links to the TEXT and PDF versions of the Final Rule:

FY 2006-2011 Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP)

FY 2006-2011 Six-Year Improvement Program Update Public Hearings were held in September and October by videoconference. VDOT will be hold another statewide hearing public hearing prior to the Commonwealth Transportation Board's action in May or June for the adoption of the program for VDOTs fiscal year beginning on July 1.
