Transportation Mobility Engineer

As the Transportation Mobility Engineer in the FHWA Washington Division Office, I am responsible for policies, procedures, and coordination of Federal Highway programs dealing with intelligent transportation systems, high priority corridor/border improvements, congestion and traffic management systems, freight mobility issues, operations, and value pricing programs. (I am also the designated engineer contact for the I-5 Reconstruction project in the Seattle area.) In this capacity I am responsible and accountable for promoting innovative design and operational concepts and marketing new product and technology developments on a statewide basis. I represent the Division in all matters dealing with these subject areas to the Washington State Department of Transportation, other FHWA offices, State and local agencies, industry groups, universities, and private citizens. It is my intent to continue to improve the quality and delivery of these programs, products, processes, and services while meeting legislative intent.
