Technology Transfer
The Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) provides local transportation agencies access to modern highway technology, assists the development and expansion of their expertise in roads and transportation, and promotes effective cooperation among federal government, state governments, local governments, and technology transfer centers.
The Washington State Technology Transfer Center in serves over 400 local agencies in the State of Washington as part of the Highways and Local Programs Division within Washington Department of Transportation.
