AMTRAK's "Coaster" commuter rail service links these two outstanding examples of multi-modal Transportation centers. The ENCINITAS COMMUTER RAIL AND TRANSIT STATION includes vehicle park and ride, dedicated motorcycle parking, bicycle lockers, shuttle, bus, and pedestrian facilities, all of which include connection and transfer information systems. San Diego's OLD TOWN TRANSIT CENTER connects the San Diego Trolley to bus, AMTRAK, pedestrian, bicycle, taxi, and automobile modes.
