Flagship Harbor: Boating, Birding, Fishing, and Boardwalks

This overlook from the State Road 100 Bridge shows the expanse of the Flagship Harbor Preserve on the left. This preserve has over 3000 feet of boardwalk through the saltwater marsh to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Within the preserve, there are interpretative signs along hiking trails and a picnic pavilion, as well as picnic areas along the trails. One may fish the ICW or hike to the Wickline Center for more active recreational pursuits. In the foreground is Moody Boat Launch, which provides free launch facilities, as well as another fishing pier along the ICW.
