The Office of Acquisition and Grants Management provides the full range of acquisition and financial assistance services to support FHWA Headquarters, the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center, FHWA Federal-Aid Division Offices, and Resource Centers throughout the country. Additionally, the office provides policy guidance and oversight for the entire FHWA nationwide acquisition program to include the Federal Lands Highway Program. The Office of Acquisition and Grants Management is led by FHWA's Chief Acquisition Officer who also serves as the Chief of Contracting Office (COCO) for all FHWA contracting activities. The Office of Acquisition and Grants Management consists of three directorates: the Office of Acquisition Policy and Oversight, the Office of Contracting Operations, and the Office of Assistance Agreements and Acquisition Services, with professional staff in FHWA Headquarters in Washington, DC.
