Case Studies

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) commissioned five case studies on early implementation of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). These case studies provide a variety of examples of how States and Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) have set up their TAP competitive processes. The case studies have overall program descriptions, TAP Implementation, Challenges and Lessons Learned, Critical Factors for Success, and contact information.
