| Description | The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will deploy e-Construction for mobile project inspection. AID funding will mitigate the risk for the demonstration mobile project inspection program for e-Construction, help ALDOT establish a mobile project inspection program, and provide significant benefits for ALDOT construction, materials, structures, and pavements. This demonstration program will allow ALDOT to evaluate the usage and implementation of a tablet, smart phone or other electronic device to streamline the project inspection process and demonstrate the benefits of real time interaction between field personnel and all levels of ALDOT management. | |
