NOTICE
SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES--FY 1992 INTERSTATE
AND FY 1991 NON-INTERSTATE APPORTIONMENTS

- PURPOSE. To provide supplementary tables related to the apportionment
of authorizations of the following FY 1992 Interstate funds and 1991 non-Interstate funds:
Interstate Construction
Interstate 4R
Consolidated Primary
Rural Secondary
Urban System
Metropolitan Planning
Bridge Replacement & Rehabilitation
Hazard Elimination
Rail-Highway Crossing on Any Public Road
Interstate Transfer
Minimum Allocation
- SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES
- Table 1 shows the total amount of Interstate funds authorized for FY
1992 and non-Interstate funds authorized for FY 1991 apportioned to States by formula.
- Table 2 shows the total amount of FY 1992 Interstate and FY 1991 consolidated
primary, rural secondary, urban system and bridge replacement and rehabilitation
funds exclusive of amounts reserved for 1 1/2 percent Highway Planning and Research (HPR) projects.
- Table 3 shows the total amount of 1 1/2 percent Highway Planning and
Research (HPR) funds available from Interstate Construction and Interstate
4R funds apportioned for FY 1992 and consolidated primary, rural secondary,
urban system, and bridge replacement and rehabilitation funds apportioned
for FY 1991. The table also shows, under the column headed 5 1/2 percent NCHRP,the
amount of 1/2 percent HPR funds available to each State for projects under
the National Cooperative Highway Research Program.
- Table 4 shows the limiting amounts available for 1/2 percent Highway
Planning and Research (PR) projects from the consolidated primary, rural secondary,
and urban system funds apportioned for FY 1991.
- Table 5 shows the limiting amounts available for 1/2 percent Highway
Planning and Research (HPR) projects from Interstate Transfer and Minimum
Allocation funds apportioned for FY 1991. Also shown is the 1/2 percent available
for Metropolitan Planning from Minimum Allocation funds apportioned for FY 1991.
- Table 6 shows the limiting amounts available for 1/4 percent National
Highway Institute Education and Training (E&T) projects from Interstate
Construction and Interstate 4R funds apportioned for FY 1992 and consolidated
primary funds apportioned for FY 1991.
- Table 7 shows the 10 percent limiting amount available for rail-highway
crossings; traffic control signalization; pavement parking; commuter carpooling
and vanpooling; installation of traffic signs; highway lights; guardrails;
or impact attentuator projects pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 120(d), from Interstate
Construction and Interstate 4R funds apportioned for FY 1992 and consolidated
primary, rural secondary, and urban system funds apportioned for FY 1991.
- Table 8 shows the Federal-aid urban system funds apportioned for FY 1991,
the segment of the apportionment attributable to urbanized areas of 200,000
or more population and the segment not attributable.
- Table 9 shows the standard allocation to urbanized areas of 200,000 or
more population of attributable urban system funds from the FY 1991 apportionment.
- Table 10 shows the amounts of FY 1991 Interstate Transfer funds apportioned
to Interstate withdrawal areas pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 103(e)(4).
- Table 11 shows the amounts of funds apportioned for FY 1991 for railway-highway
crossings on any public road program available only for installation of protective
devices and amounts available for elimination of hazards at railway-highway
crossings including additional projects for installation of protective devices.
- Table 12 shows the total amounts of the FY 1991 apportionments of the
bridge replacement andrehabilitation funds segmented between:
(1) The minimum amount of 15 percent required to be expended
for projects to replace or rehabilitate highway bridges located on public
highways on a Federal-aid system; and
(2) The minimum amount of 65 percent required to be expended
for projects to replace or rehabilitate highway bridges located on public
road, other than those on a Federal-aid system,
(3) The remaining 20 percent that may be expended for projects
to replace or rehabilitated highway bridges located on public highways on
or off a Federal-aid highway system.
- Table 13 shows the limiting amounts available for 1/4 percent Skill Training
projects (authorized in Section 337 of Public Law 101-164) from Interstate
Construction and Interstate 4R funds apportioned for FY 1992 and consolidated
primary, rural secondary, urban system, bridge replacement and rehabilitation,
hazard elimination and rail-highway crossing funds apportioned for FY 1991.
