Pavement Management - TPF-5(299)/(399: Pavement Surface Distress and Transverse Profile Pooled Fund Study

Welcome to the Transportation Pooled Fund Study Site for the TPF-5(299)/(399) Improving the Quality of Pavement Surface Distress and Transverse Profile Data Collection and Analysis

The goal of TPF-5(299)/(399) is to assemble state highway agencies, and the Federal Highway Administration, alongside industry and academia to meet six main goals. (1) Identify PSDAT data integrity and quality issues; (2) Suggest approaches to addressing identified issues; (3) Initiate and monitor projects intended to address identified issues; (4) Disseminate results; (5) Assist in solution deployment; and (6) Support other efforts related to improving pavement surface distress and transverse profile data collection and analysis.

The goal of this site is to provide a resource for those interested in the subject to collaborate and share useful materials.
