The phases of SLOCOG's scenario planning process. Phase I, "Getting Started", occurred in 2004-2005. In it, SLOCOG prepared and operated a database for iPlace3s-based visioning workshops, developed consensus regarding summary concepts, and delineated next steps. In Phase II, "Getting Focused", in Fall 2005, subregional workshops to initiate the next steps identified under phase I were held and key opportunities regarding issues defined as important concerns in phase I were discussed. Phase III, Defining direction and solutions, occurred in spring 2006. Phase IVA, developing plan concepts, financial and other resources, was scheduled for fall 2006. Phase IVB, consensus agreements and plans, was scheduled for spring 2007. Regional Blueprint Planning Grant Funding will be used in Phase II and Phase IVB.
