Exhibit 14-8 is a bar graph that shows college and school trips as a percentage of total transit trips. The vertical axis measures percentages from 0 to 14 in increments of 2 percent. The horizontal axis has three bars, one for each urban area size. For small urban areas, 2.4 percent use transit for college and 12.6 for other school. For medium urban areas, 7.6 percent use transit for college and 6.7 for other school. And for large urban areas, 3.6 percent use transit for college and 4.4 for other school.
