Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) 101

This introduction 101 session will provide attendees a brief overview on HPMS background, purpose, and requirements. Structures of the HPMS covering sample selection and general data items requirements will be described. Basic information on submittal requirements and the major components of an HPMS submittal will be presented. The session is prepared for newcomers and those who may need a refresher.

Introduction to Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) 8.0 Software

This is an introduction to HPMS 8.0 Software. It is geared towards new staff who has no or minimum exposure to the workings of the HPMS software. The hands-on session will introduce attendees to the flows of HPMS 8.0, the web-based software for submittal and processing HPMS data.

Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) Software Training

National Highway Institute, 1310 N. Courthouse Road, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22201

Monthly traffic data are submitted and validated with the new web-based TMAS software. This workshop will introduce participants to the new features in TMAS version 2.0. Data upload, quality checks and report generation will be covered. Station records (S-cards), volume records (3-cards), classification records (c-card) and weight records (w-card) will be processed and summarized. Reports will be demonstrated showing how users they can access their data along with data from other States. This new software replaces the TVT and VTRIS upload process.
