March 2019 Traffic Volume Trends

• Travel on all roads and streets changed by 0.3% (0.9 billion vehicle miles) for March 2019 as compared with March 2018. Travel for the month is estimated to be 270.2 billion vehicle miles.
• The seasonally adjusted vehicle miles traveled for March 2019 is 269.6 billion miles, a 0.9% (2.4 billion vehicle miles) increase over March 2018. It also represents 1.3% increase (3.4 billion vehicle miles) compared with February 2019.
• Cumulative Travel for 2019 changed by 0.5% (3.6 billion vehicle miles). The cumulative estimate for the year is 741.5 billion vehicle miles of travel.
