Public Employees: Working for America

The Public Employees Roundtable and the president's Interagency Council held the 15th annual Public Service Recognition Week event on the National Mall from May 6 to May 9, 1999. More than 100 government agencies exhibited and celebrated the innovation and quality of work performed by public employees.

The Federal Highway Administration was proud to be one of the exhibitors, and had been one for all 15 PSRW events since 1985. This year, we displayed our No-Zone Ranger, Work Zone Safety, and Watershed/Cleaner Air Quality exhibits as well as our beautiful 30-foot ONE DOT intermodal exhibit.

Special thanks are given from the Office of Information and Management Services to Planning and Environment CBU and Motor Carriers and Highway Safety CBU for their time and participation at the event.
