This research studyexamined outdoor advertising data collection methods in five states with electronic data management capabilities. The five states identified for the study are New Jersey, Florida, Montana, Kansas, and Missouri. A case study for each statedescribes the electronic data management systems in place such as methods of data collection, sources of information, and database maintenance.
This research effort was intended to identify electronic data management systems that can support national statistical reporting in the control of outdoor advertising.
