HTF Accounts and Modal Administrations relationships

The Highway Trust Fund is comprised of the following two accounts:

1.  Highway Account (HA) - this account funds the following 5 modal administrations:

1.1  Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS)

1.2  Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)

1.3  Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

1.4  Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)

1.5  National Highway Traffic Safety Admininstration (NHTSA)

2.  Mass Transit Account (MTA) - this account funds the following modal administration:

2.1  Federal Transit Administration (FTA)
