ARRA Bridge Oversight Plan

There will be a QA/QC, contract administration, and PS&E review completed for each Bridge Rehabilitation Contract (region). This may be conducted in conjunction with a construction review, but may also be conducted as a separate review.

Below is a spreadsheet of the superstructure replacements. This is the complete list of bridge rehabilitation structures, the construction review list will be based upon the construction schedule. However, this list shows the number of structures per district to be included in the construction review list based upon a random sample of 15% of the total number of structures (10 of 63), 15% of each of the four contracts, and at least 1 per district (8). This should provide an accurate random sample for review.

Due to time constraints for the three Culvert Rehabilitation/Replacement contracts the visits for those will be more difficult to time a direct construction visit. Instead, a site visit may be conducted in conjunction with another review should time allow. The structure would be based upon the culvert under construction at the time of the review. The QA/QC and contract administration of the culvert contracts may also be conducted as time allows.
