Heat Straightening Repair for Damaged Steel Bridges


New York Workshop Information and Agenda

The FHWA Heat Straightening Demonstration has been scheduled for October 5th and 6th in the NYSDOT Oneida East Maintenance facility in New Hartford, NY (near Utica, NY).

The training will be done in two sessions. The first is primarily for engineers and covers recent research and project engineering considerations. The second session is a how-to discussion with hands-on practice, aimed at field supervisors and operations personnel but also of interest to engineers.

Participants should bring shaded safety glasses.
