NM Historic Route 66 Los Lunas Corridor Management Plan This project will develop a corridor management plan for the Los Lunas segment of Historic Route 66 in New Mexico to identify and prioritize opportunities for wayfinding features and informational systems $19,200 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
NM Historic Route 66 Wayfinding Signs This project will fund the design and construction of wayfinding signs along Historic Route 66 in Albuquerque. $120,000 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
NM Billy the Kid National Scenic Byway Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail This project will construct a pedestrian and bicycle path adjacent to the Billy the Kid Trail that will provide safe and healthy accessibility to the Rio Ruidoso for byway travelers and residents. $556,419 National Scenic Byways Program (NSBP)
NM Chaves County - US 380 Highway Improvement This project will upgrade accessibility to more than 160 acres of recreational facilities, create acceleration and deceleration lanes from the east and west to reduce traffic congestion, repair pavement, upgrade guardrail and implement erosion control measures. $2,000,000 Public Lands Highway Discretionary Program
NM Jicarilla Apache Nation SR 537 Roadway Construction Project This project will reconstruct a portion of New Mexico State Route 537 to accommodate heavier truck loading for oil and gas development as well as widen travel lanes and shoulders for increased sight distance. $3,000,000 Public Lands Highway Discretionary Program
NM RN 125 Improvement This project will improve nine miles of RN 125, a major rural thoroughfare on the Ramah Navajo Reservation. The road’s pavement has deteriorated, creating safety issues for the many people who rely on this major route to schools, employment and business centers, housing and a medical center. $496,000 Public Lands Highway Discretionary Program
NM Santa Fe County Pavement Preservation Program TCSP funds will be used to construct a pavement preservation program to evaluate pavements and provide preventative maintenance in Santa Fe. $657,488 Transportation, Community and System Preservation Program (TCSP)
NM East Main Street Corridor Traffic Signal Improvement Project TCSP funds will help support Farmington’s East Main Street Corridor Traffic Signal Improvement Project, which will increase safety at signalized intersections, improve travel time reliability and reduce traffic congestion. $400,000 Transportation, Community and System Preservation Program (TCSP)
