  1. The funding for these projects was designated by Congress in the conference report (House Report 106-355) accompanying the FY 2000 DOT Appropriations Act (Public Law 106-69). The amounts are reduced because of the FY 2000 obligation limitation of 87.1 percent, under the provisions of Section 1102(f) of TEA-21.
  2. These set-aside amounts for Alaska, New Jersey, and Washington are required under the provisions of Section 1207(b)(3) of TEA-21.
