Geophysics 2000 ConferenceThe First International Conference on the Application of Geophysical and NDT Methodologies to Transportation Facilities and Infrastructure The Federal Highway Administration and the Missouri Department of Transportation are pleased to announce the First International Conference on the Application of Geophysical and NDT Methodologies to Transportation Facilities and Infrastructure (Geophysics 2000). The conference was held December 11-15, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency at Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri. The goal of this conference was to exchange information about available geophysical and NDT methodologies that are currently available around the world. Proper understanding of the appropriate application of the various methods and understanding of their limitations can maximize their benefit. Such benefits will be enhanced engineering practice, improved safety, and cost savings. |
