Intergovernmental Affairs

The Intergovernmental Affairs Team is the focal point within the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) concerning interactions with stakeholders, customers and partners regarding legislative, policy and programmatic matters.

On a national level the Intergovernmental Affairs Team is actively involved in Agency communications about reauthorization, policy or programmatic concerns of stakeholders.

The Intergovernmental Affairs Team conducts the Indian tribal transportation function, including the Agency wide coordination of legislative, policy, programmatic, legal and technical issues.
