  1. Apportionments Notices
    We updated the Apportionment Notice link from www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/recreational_trails/funding/. FHWA Apportionment Notices are posted at https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/legsregs/directives/notices/ under the N4510 series.     We posted results of our December 2005 survey on how States cover RTP advisory committee expenses.   4. George Schoener Retires
    When the Recreational Trails Program first began, it was housed in FHWA's Intermodal and Statewide Programs Division. Our Division Chief was George Schoener. George moved on in 2002 to be the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy with the USDOT. George is retiring April 2006.
