Most importantly, potentially affecting the RTP and Transportation Enhancements, FHWA also issued the FY 2007 rescission notice, which will be posted at www.fhwa.dot.gov/legsregs/directives/notices/n4510643.cfm. See additional RTP information at: /environment/recreational_trails/funding/ and see additional TE information at: hhttps://www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/transportation_enhancements/

  2. MN DNR Trail Guidelines
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR) produced a design guideline manual. It provides detailed information ranging from planning, evaluating environmental impacts, development, and maintenance of all types of trail facilities. It outlines best practices for all activities ranging from bicycle/pedestrian pathways to winter-use trails which are utilized by both motorized and nonmotorized users for recreation and transportation.
