The Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Surface Transportation Environment and Planning Cooperative Research Program (STEP) sponsored a webinar on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss ongoing initiatives to support environmental justice.
Topics included FHWA's Environmental Justice Guidebook, the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) environmental justice strategy and current outreach efforts. Speakers included representatives from FHWA and USDOT.
