Midwest Geotechnical Conference
Background
The Midwest Geotechnical Conference (MWGC) is composed of 8 state departments of transportation including: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin. The MWGC seeks to bring together State and Federal DOT geotechnical professionals from the north central region of the United States along with geotechnical professionals from the private sector and academia to promote technical interaction and professional development. This conference is an excellent opportunity for transportation agencies to share their experiences with each other as well as for the private sector to highlight how they can partner with the public transportation agencies to construct and maintain the nation's transportation infrastructure.
