Project Management Plans Process
As shown in the FHWA Major Project Deliverable Timeline, the Project Sponsor is responsible for the submittal of the Project Management Plan to the FHWA Division Office for acceptance. The Project Management Plan should be submitted prior to the acceptance of the initial financial plan and the start of construction.
All Project Management Plan updates should be submitted to the FHWA. Any updates with significant project changes should be submitted to FHWA Division Office for acceptance.
