Legislative Analysis Team

The Legislative Analysis Team has a broad range of responsibilities related to Congress, Federal legislation, and the Federal-aid highway program. It analyzes Congressional proposals concerning highways, with an emphasis on policy implications, highway funding, program structure, and cross-cutting features. The Legislative Analysis Team coordinates the Agency's development and implementation of highway authorization bills. It also briefs and instructs Congressional staff, State officials, and Federal agency personnel on the program, highway funding, and related Federal law.
