  • Washington State TIB Performance Management Dashboard

    The Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) is an independent state agency that makes and manages street construction and maintenance grants to 320 cities and urban counties throughout Washington State. TIB uses a performance management dashboard to track its business processes and projects and to establish an accurate overview of the agency's performance.

    The New Mexico Department of Transportation/ Traffic Safety Division (TSD) is committed to preventing injuries and saving lives by reducing the number of crashes on New Mexico's roadways. To accomplish this, the TSD develops, supports and implements a variety of traffic safety programs including Alcohol/ Impaired Driving, Occupant Protection, Police Traffic Services, Traffic Records, Motorcycle Safety, Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety, and Driver Education and Safety. The effectiveness of these programs is measured using police crash reports, traffic volume and speed monitoring data, traffic safety, census and health-related data, and seatbelt use surveys.

  • North Dakota Highway Safety Plan 2014
    North Dakota DOT - 08/15/2014
    In the years 2012-2013, North Dakota reinvigorated the SHSP process with increased stakeholder involvement, revised processes for identification of priority emphasis areas and selection of evidence-based strategies for implementation, and increased resource commitment to the process.

    This research examines how RPOs and rural interests are integral partners in transportation planning efforts for megaregions and explores methods for their participation. It expands on on-going initiatives by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of Planning, including research by Georgia Tech, the USDOT's Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) and others on the important potential contribution planning can make to meeting the transportation needs of megaregions.

  • CUUATS Modeling Analysis Package
    Champaign Urbana Urbanized Area Transportation Study - 08/15/2014
    The CUUATS Modeling Analysis Package is designed to provide a holistic approach to planning analysis through the integration of localized transportation, livability, land use, emissions, and social cost models. Each model addresses a specific area of concern at the necessary level of detail to make it appropriate for Champaign County, IL. Using the CUUATS Modeling Analysis Package will allow development and tracking of new area-specific performance measures and facilitate better informed transportation planning.

  • WeMove Massachusetts: Planning for Performance (.pdf, 3.7 mb)
    MassDOT - 08/15/2014
    This WMM report serves as the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. WMM's Planning for Performance analytical tool establishes ways to measure the performance of transportation assets now and in the future under different funding levels based on the agency's policy priorities. This capability will enable MassDOT to prioritize transportation investments across all modes.
