Innovative Bridge Research and Deployment Program

• On November 13, 2007, Office of the Secretary of Transportation under Docket Nos. OST-2007-0004, FHWA-2007-0004, and FTA-2007-0004 (.pdf, 84 kb, Text Version) advertised on the Federal Register soliciting applications for funding of "Congestion-Reduction Demonstration Initiatives" for the Fiscal Year 2008. This solicitation has eleven funding programs including the Innovative Bridge Research and Deployment (IBRD) program (FHWA’s Innovative Bridge Program). The completed applications are due on or before December 31, 2007. Late-filed applications will be considered to the extent practical.

  The notice refers to the memorandum dated March 28, 2007 found at http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/bridge/ibrd/032807.cfm for standard requirements of an application to the Innovative Bridge Program; however it supersedes the application procedures and deadlines outlined in this memorandum
