Exhibit 3-22 is a bar graph that shows the percentages of current bridge condition ratings. The vertical axis measures percentages from 0 to 40 in increments of 5 percent. The horizontal axis measures the ratings from 9 to 0 from left to right, and each rating has three bridge categories: deck, substructure, and superstructure. About 4 percent of decks have a rating of 9, 20 percent are rated 8, 36 percent are rated 7, 23 percent are rated 6, 12 percent are rated 5, 4 percent are rated 4, 1 percent are rated 3, and a marginal number of decks are rated 2, 1, or 0. About 4 percent of substructures have a rating of 9, 18 percent are rated 8, 35 percent are rated 7, 22 percent are rated 6, 13 percent are rated 5, 6 percent are rated 4, 2 percent are rated 3, and a marginal number of decks are rated 2, 1, or 0. About 5 percent of superstructures have a rating of 9, 24 percent are rated 8, 33 percent are rated 7, 20 percent are rated 6, 11 percent are rated 5, 4 percent are rated 4, 2 percent are rated 3, and a marginal number of decks are rated 2, 1, or 0.
